Tuesday 21st - Friday 24th July 1998
After such a long journey the day before, myself & John where
not very active the next day.
Over the next few days, John slowly got down to repairing Sudden
Impact in between showing me some of the local sites of Pennsylvania, including
taking me to Hershey Park.
On the Friday when I had to fly back to England, John had to leave
me at the airport to get back to repairing Sudden Impact, as he had to
get it finished for a local show the next day.
As I got on the bus at Allentown Airport, to go to Newark Airport,
It was then I felt that my trip was now over. I actually still had another
18 hours before I reached my home in London, after having to wait 1 1/2
hours for my luggage to come in on the next flight from Newark, as it had
missed my flight.
Looking back at my trip now, it seems such along time ago that
I actually went. Response to my behind the scenes coverage
has been very good, & I feel honoured to be able to tell the story
of my trip.
I have done what some people will never get a chance to
do, & lived to tell the tail !
The story you have read, only tells a part of what actually went
on. There was lots of other stuff which I did, that wasn't relivant
to my story, (including spending loads of time in the swimming pool at
the shop) or I am unable to tell you !
Really, words cannot explain to you, the full extent of my trip.
One person even e-mailed me with this question :-
"Last year is was the Truckfest. This year, on the road with Sudden
Impact. How will you top yourself next year ?"
You will just have to wait & see !
I'd just like to thank everybody again.
I'll be back!
Andrew
