INFORMATION: Donny has been racing monster trucks for seven years. He got interested in monster trucks when taking his his lifted pick-up truck to shows, & he had a dream to go bigger.  In 1988 Donny's favourite monster truck 'Lon Ranger', owned & driven by Gary Bauer, was in town to do a show. The truck was on display at a local Ford dealership, so Donny drove down in his lifted Ranger pick-up truck, & began talking about trucks to Gary Bauer. Donny told him that Lon Ranger was hs favourite truck & that he wanted to do his show truck like that or build one like it. Donny & Gary stayed in touch, then one day, a few years later, Gary phoned Donny & told him he was retiring & wanted to sell the Lon Ranger truck. They agreed on a price, & Donny purchased it. The truck is a 1992 Ford Ranger. The truck has the old style leaf spring suspension with five ton axles. The truck weighs 13,000 pounds & rides on Firestone tires.
